Wydmarck was born and raised in the Philippines; where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and an MA degree in Theology concentrating in Religious Education.
Wydmarck’s collaboration with Jesuits spanned for more than fifteen years. He was a Jesuit Scholastic in the Philippine Province for seven years and served as a Campus Minister in Ateneo de Davao – a Jesuit university in southern Philippines – for eight years.
As a former Jesuit and campus minister; Wydmarck was deeply involved in the work of spiritual and social formation of young adults by means of retreat giving and spiritual direction. He was also involved in giving formation workshops for parishes, in facilitating inter-religious dialogues between Christians and Muslims, and participated in several advocacies for peace building and socio-ecological justice.
In September 2016, Wydmarck immigrated to Canada with his wife Julie and son Jeremy.
